I’m wearing what I want when I want!

Over the last 6 months or so I’ve been struggling with “What’s my style?” “Sporty” “sexy casual” “vintage”

I was trying to fit myself in a box. I was trying to dress how I thought I should. Today I declare: I WEAR WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT!

If I want to dress like I’m 20 one day and an 80s mom the next I have the right to do so and so do you!!!

Don’t let anyone even yourself put you in a box especially when it comes to style.

Shoutout to all my brow skin women whose top lip is darker than their bottom lip. #thestruggleisreal

This lip crayon from @trestique passed the test: will the pigmentation be enough for my top and bottom lip? The separate built in balm does something to activate even more pigmentation.

And who doesn’t live a good 2-in-1? This is also perfect because now my everyday gloss and balm don’t have to mix with my lipstick colors.

2 years ago I was diagnosed with Vitamin D Deficiency. I didn’t feel like myself for almost a year prior to getting diagnosed. So much so I actually thought I was depressed.

When I was diagnosed I found out my levels were at a 4 optimal is 30-50.

It’s more important than ever as low Vitamin D levels can weaken your immune system. And melanated folks are more likely to be deficient.

Melanin protects the skin against ultraviolet light. But by blocking the sun’s rays, melanin affects the skin’s ability to activate pre-vitamin D. So the darker the skin, the less vitamin D you produce.
