Goodbye 2018… Hello 2019

This year has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. But the best rollercoaster by far. This year I became and full-time entrepreneur and trusted God with my finances. It wasn’t an easy road because as you can imagine God doesn’t lay out a plan and tell you where your money will be coming from or when. But I can attest that his timing and provision are perfect.

This year I was able to take a girls getaway for my birthday, travel to a friend’s wedding, travel for work, pays assistants, work on some amazing projects and strengthen wor relationships. The highlights of the year had to be the Clairol commercial, working on Allure 100 years of beauty and snagging an amazing client.

This year also tested and strengthened my friendships. I was able to visit my cousins more, started and ended some friendships, worked on myself and even started dating. The dating in it self taught me a lot about what I want, can handle and need to change.

In 2019 I’m looking to trust God more proactively, moving and trusting Him to cover me instead of waiting for Him to tell me where to go or provide the covering first. I want to grow my relationship with God and talk to Him all day about everything. Pray, believe and claim more before things manifest.

I’d like to travel more, spend more time with family and take another girl’s trip. I want to be a better friend, a more positive/encouraging friend and strengthen my friendships even more. Develop a meaningful relationship with a man who’s after God’s heart. I want to be more consistent with my commitments, my blog, my businesses and overall wellness.

Discipline is my word for 2019. It’s needed in my business, personal life, and spiritual life. 2018 showed me that and I’m determined to set it right in 2019. I’m expectant for exceedingly and abundantly more in 2019. Are you?

I’ve been eyeing this skirt (set) from @hanifaofficial for a while now. I waited as it was a bit out of budget.

On Black Friday they had a sale and I snagged it. But I also used @klarna.

I say all of this to say... keep an eye out for your favorite brands to have holiday sales and you can even break that up into smaller chunks!
