Search the Word for Answers – What Does God Say About You?
Look to the bible for what God and Jesus say about you. The love they have for you, how they see you and the promises they have for you. These will be the verses you stand on, verses to recite when negative thoughts creep into your mind or when someone says something negative about you. This is your arsenal of positive affirmations but from the Most High. What He says about you trumps what anyone, including yourself, says about you. Once you have your verses keep them somewhere handy, the notepad on your phone highlighted in your Bible app or even commit a few to memory. I have a few on my wall at home too but I need them at my fingertips, negative thoughts can come up at any time so it’s good to have them accessible at all times.
- Verses about what God says about you
- Psalm 139:14 – I praise you because I’m fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well
- Psalm 46:5 – Go is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day
- Ephesians 1:4 – For he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in his sight in love
- Provers 31:17 She wraps herself in strength, might and power in all her works.

Thank you for allowing my father to see another year around the sun. Thank you for choosing him to be my earthly father. Thank you for his ability to be hard yet fair, stubborn yet gentle and always wanting the best for his children. Thank you for his ability to never pass judgement and always speak the truth, even if we don’t want to hear it lol. Thank you for giving him so many children to love and steward. He may seem tough on the outside but his heart is as big as the sun.
This year I pray uninterrupted happiness for him. I pray for healing in relationships that have been broken. I pray over his health that he may stay strong and healthy and go to the doctor when necessary, so I don’t have to go back to LA and make a scene lol, didn’t I say he’s a bit stubborn? I pray that every fishing trip he goes on he is blessed with lots of fish and new memories.
I pray that You let him know that I’m ok here in NY, even when he can’t see me. I pray that he knows just how much I love and miss him. I pray that he’s proud of me and knows how far I’ve come from the little girl in these pictures. I pray that our relationship and bond gets stronger.
God, thank You for my father, my dad, my daddy. Thank You for making him a man who can teach me how to cook and change oil. Thank You he’s never had me do the latter lol. I thank You that when I see him I see home. May this be his best year yet!!
I love you immensely, Daddy!!
This week was a tough writing week for me. I like to keep my writing authentic and from the heart. This week I was blank, stuck, just had no clue what to write about. I’ve learned that if I don’t write from my heart, a place of passion I sound very technical almost like an infomercial. So this year with me taking my blogging more seriously I vowed to be more authentic. More authentic with my writing, my posts and my brand partnerships. So this post is how I keep my voice and brand authentic.
